This is the perfect class for them to satisfy their quest and explore much more!

This course is all about the great frontier of space, we will delve into everything from our solar system to distant stars, galaxies and black holes. Let's learn about gravity and the physics of planets while exploring the incredible and vast expanse of space and time. Depending on your child's interests and abilities you may want to add a few extra sessions if needed.

  • Earth, Moon, and the Sun

  •  Seasons and tides

  • Stars and nebulae

  •  Natural and manmade satellites

  •  Distance in space

  •  Our planetary siblings

  •  Comets, asteroids, and meteors

  •  Life of a star and black holes (intermediate-advanced)

  •  Origin of the universe (intermediate-advanced)

  •  The experience of space-time (intermediate-advanced)

  •  Gravitational waves (advanced)

  • Quantum entanglement (advanced)

Materials needed :

  • Computer with webcam and internet access

  • Journal for drawing and taking notes

Typically the beginner level runs into 10 sessions, intermediate is 10 sessions and advanced is 10 sessions. Depending on your child’s interests and abilities you may want to add a few extra sessions if needed.

Creating your own solar system

Instructor works with the student enhancing their curiosity to bring the astronomy parameters while applying coding principles (Sequencing, loops and conditionals).

What did you love abot the class ?

The instructor adapted well to the learning level of my kids. He engaged them with visuals and asked  them to draw along

What could be improved ?

Share screen more often with larger visuals for younger children. The visual from NASA might be too small for young children.
